Tim Corbett moved to the St. George/Manhattan area when he married his wife, Ali, in August of 2017. Between them they have 7 kids, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. Tim is a proud supporter of the Rock Creek Mustangs and his beloved KSU Wildcats. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a B.A. in French, a minor in English, and earned a Master's Degree in Business Management from Baker University.
Prior to moving to St. George, Tim lived in Topeka where he was employed for the last 15 years as a physical inspector for Kansas Housing Resources, a division of the State of Kansas. During that time, Tim conducted inspections on single family housing, duplexes, and multi-family housing complexes. He is a Federally Certified Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) Inspector. As a REAC inspector, Tim was responsible for conducting thorough and detailed inspections of Section 8 apartment complexes for HUD.
When Tim resigned his job from the State, he started building his own home inspection business. He completed the courses and graduated from the Inspection Certification Association (ICA) School for Home Inspectors. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Tim follows the ASHI Standards for his inspections and Code of Conduct.
In addition to his experience in housing and housing inspections, Tim spent many years working directly with the public in a variety of settings where he has developed an outstanding customer service rapport. He understands your inspection report is just a piece of paper if you don't understand what's on it. He looks forward to working with you to make sure you are confident in finding your new home.
